Alexander Stuart Terry-Emanuel

Alexander Stuart Terry-Emanuel earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Accounting Systems Analytics from Canisius University in Spring 2025 and is currently pursuing an MBA in Accounting, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026. He is on track to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York State. To further this goal, he has accepted a Summer 2025 tax internship with Ernst & Young in Buffalo, where he will gain hands-on experience and mentorship from professionals in the field.

His long-term aspiration is to become a Chief Financial Officer or Controller at a bank, investment fund, or nonprofit organization that focuses on financial literacy and tax planning in underserved communities. As a BUS 101 Mentor and academic tutor, Alexander actively supports students in achieving academic and professional success. He has also volunteered through the VITA program and the Canisius Honors Student Association, providing meaningful service to local nonprofits throughout Western New York.

Previously, Alexander interned at M&T Bank, where he gained valuable exposure to risk management and built connections with regional leaders such as Glenn Jackson, further strengthening his commitment to the economic development of the region.

The WNY Prosperity Fellowship aligns closely with his mission to uplift and invest in the Western New York community.
