Aspen Flynn

Aspen is originally from Coarsegold, California – a small town near Yosemite National Park. She is thrilled to continue the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Canisius this year. Aspen has been involved in health and healthcare delivery for the last ten years and is excited to continue the transition to patient care.

She is the founder of JustMilk, a 501(c)3 nonprofit developing a novel method of infant medication delivery. Aspen spent several years working on international healthcare projects and research in South Africa, Tanzania, India, and Peru. She then spent time in the federal government, working on drinking water quality at the Environmental Protection Agency and documenting racial disparities in cardiovascular outcomes at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. In her spare time, Aspen enjoys rock climbing and exploring the food scene in Western New York.
