Bill Minarchi
Bill is a JD/MBA candidate at the University at Buffalo. As a lifelong Buffalonian, his passion for the city and for entrepreneurship started with watching his mother build and run a small business for 13 years. This journey—watching and working for the business for seven years—gave him first-hand knowledge of what it takes to be an entrepreneur and sparked a passion for enabling businesses to thrive.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UB with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He is a Pride of New York Scholar and a three-time Dean’s List recipient. He has had internship experience in tax accounting and data analytics. Furthermore, he strengthened his leadership skills and local impact through his role as Vice President of Community Service for Delta Sigma Pi, building and creating relationships between the School of Management and Buffalo nonprofits. These experiences in and outside of the classroom have led him to explore early-stage venture capital and the startup ecosystem. This summer, he will be joining 43North as a Portfolio Intern, helping bring high-growth startups to Buffalo.
Long term, he plans to continue this journey in venture capital and start his own VC firm to empower founders and build economy-boosting companies. By combining the knowledge he gains in the JD/MBA program with his lived experience as a Buffalonian in the entrepreneurial space, he intends to create positive business impact and be a driving force in the prosperity of Buffalo.
