Britney Upshaw, a Buffalo native, is an MBA student at Canisius College. Britney has been extremely involved in her Western New York (WNY) community. Currently, she works as the marketing coordinator for Community Music School, a local nonprofit that helps people pursue musical education regardless of their financial resources. Her role is to create social media posts, flyers, and strategize ways to get more students using her marketing efforts. This experience combined with her entrepreneurial spirit has inspired her to start her own nonprofit to better WNY. Britney is now working with the Volunteer Lawyer Project to make that dream a reality. Creating a better WNY is her passion and furthering her education is the first step in doing that
