Henry Nowak

Henry Nowak is currently pursuing his JD/MBA, with a focus in litigation and an interest in contract law. He graduated from Binghamton University in 2023 with a degree in economics and philosophy.
He is interested in using data analytics to identify people and businesses in Western New York that are in need of housing, transportation, and private or commercial loans. He is dedicated to finding cost-effective ways to provide these resources. Henry seeks to identify businesses in underserved communities and create mutually beneficial collaborative events, similar to Food Truck Tuesdays in the Larkin Square District.
Henry serves as the President of the Graduate Management Association (GMA), the governing body of the UB Business School. This past year, he ran elections and amended the constitution to promote innovative changes for the benefit of the MBA students. He coordinated 12 events, raising over $15,000 in revenue. Henry has built a strong network of faculty, vendors and students to run GMA efficiently.
Henry has received several awards associated with public speaking, including attorney and witness awards with Binghamton Mock Trial, and 1st place at Startup Bootcamp in Spring 2025 alongside his team. He will be competing in the Panasci entrepreneurship competition later this semester. Henry also runs the Manage-A-Bull podcast for the UB school of management, serving as a host and editor.
Looking ahead, Henry plans to work at law firms in Buffalo and New York City, conduct data analysis for small businesses, and eventually start his own law firm in Western New York. His goal is to provide legal services for businesses, specifically targeting intellectual property, labor and employment matters.
