Henry Nowak

Henry Nowak is currently pursuing a JD/MBA, with a legal concentration in intellectual property and privacy law, and a business concentration in consulting. He graduated from Binghamton University in 2023 with a degree in economics and philosophy.

He is interested in using data analytics to identify people and businesses in Western New York that are in need of housing, transportation, and private or commercial loans. He is dedicated to finding cost-effective ways to provide these resources. Henry seeks to identify businesses in underserved communities and create mutually beneficial collaborative events, similar to Food Truck Tuesdays in the Larkin Square District.

Henry serves as the Director of Internal Affairs at the Graduate Management Association (GMA), the governing body of the UB Business School. In this role he plans and executes events for the benefit of UB MBA students. During the 2023 fall semester, Henry was instrumental in organizing Festivus, the end-of-semester party, which was the first sold out event in GMA history. He intends to run for President of GMA at the end of the 2024 spring semester.

Henry has received awards as an attorney and witness during multiple tournaments for Binghamton Mock Trial, with his most recent awards received at the Buffalo Invitational Tournament in February 2023.

Looking ahead, Henry plans to work at law firms in Buffalo and New York City, conduct data analysis for small businesses, and eventually start his own law firm in Western New York. His goal is to provide legal services for businesses, specifically targeting intellectual property, labor, and employment matters.
