Isabella Chelini
Isabella is from Rochester, New York, and is in her second semester of the Sport Administration Master’s program, after completing her undergraduate degree in Sport Management with an Entrepreneurship minor from Canisius as well. While completing her master’s degree, Isabella is also an External Affairs Graduate Assistant for Canisius University Athletics, where she runs the marketing campaigns and initiatives for various sporting events, with a focus on hockey and basketball. Before this position, she volunteered a lot within the athletics department, including filming sporting events for the ESPN digital media team, working with the athletic facilities team, assisting the 2023 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships, and she was the team manager for the Women’s Soccer team for three years.
Isabella has been involved in numerous leadership activities throughout her time at Canisius, including managing a social media campaign for National Women and Girls in Sport Day, being selected for the Canisius Sport Management Breakfast Club networking opportunities, running, and organizing a cornhole tournament that raised over $1,000 for a local Buffalo charity. Attending the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, Women in Sport networking event, designing, and organizing a t-shirt giveaway for the Canisius Hockey banner celebration night that garnered over 1,000 spectators, and orchestrating a successful breast cancer awareness volleyball game with a national foundation that recorded a top 10 attendance place in history for the team. After she completes her graduate program, Isabella plans to work in the marketing department for a professional or college sports team and eventually start her own athletic facility business.
