Isabella Chelini

Isabella is from Rochester, New York, and is a junior Sport Management Major, with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Canisius University. She is expected to complete her undergraduate degree in the Fall of 2024 and will then start her Sport Administration master’s program, which is expected to be completed by Spring 2025. Off campus, Isabella currently works at Locust Hill Country Club as a server and snack bar attendant back in Rochester. On campus, Isabella has a variety of experiences related to the sport industry at Canisius. This includes filming sporting events for ESPN, volunteering with the athletic facilities team, volunteering at the 2023 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships, working as an intern with the External Affairs team in the athletic department, and she has been the team manager for the Women’s Soccer team for three years now. Isabella has been involved in numerous leadership activities throughout her time at Canisius, including managing a Canisius Sport Management Instagram page, managing a social media campaign for National Women and Girls in Sport Day, being selected for the Canisius Sport Management Breakfast Club networking opportunities, running and organizing a cornhole tournament that raised over $1000 for a local Buffalo charity, and attending the Buffalo Bills and Sabres Women in Sport networking event. After she completes her undergraduate and graduate studies, Isabella plans on working in the marketing department for a professional or college sports team and eventually starting her own athletic facility business.
