Joshua Newman is a passionate visual and media artist currently pursuing a degree in Media Study with a concentration in production at the University at Buffalo. With extensive experience in graphic design and video editing, Joshua has recently expanded his creative skillset to include photography and advanced cinematography. He is committed to deepening his expertise in media through hands-on learning and coursework that sharpens his craft. In 2024, Joshua was recognized with the “Best Animation” award in UB’s Media Study Student Showcase. He is currently contributing his talents to the UB Startup and Innovation Collaboratory and interning with 43North, where he supports both organizations with graphic design, photography, and video production. Looking ahead, Joshua plans to launch his own studio company in Buffalo to further pursue his creative ambitions.
