Lilly Radel
Lilly Radel (she/her) is completing her undergraduate double degree in Spring 2026, majoring in both environmental design and environmental studies. As a fourth generation University at Buffalo student, she looks to history often to guide her studies and purpose. She hopes to contribute to this vibrant history by creating a more just and environmentally friendly space for all: humans, animals, and plants included. She plans to do so by completing a graduate program centered around urban planning or landscape architecture as a means to merge both her love for people-centered design and the living environment.
Lilly prides herself in her interpersonal skills and her ever-growing curiosity of her surroundings—constantly looking to learn about Western New York and the fauna and flora that make up the region. Inheriting her father’s love of history, Lilly enjoys the fields of preservation and restoration of both the built and natural environment, especially projects that learn from nature to create a better future. Lilly, never one to turn down an opportunity, recently celebrated her 500th volunteer hour completed while an undergraduate student at UB!
