MacKenzie, from Boston, New York, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing and is expecting to graduate in May 2016. She is involved in the American Marketing Association on campus and was elected as the club’s Vice President of Professional Development. She also participates in MyLinkFace, a club helping international students work towards understanding the English language and American culture. She has volunteered at Journey’s End, aiding refugees in understanding English as a second language and setting them up for success in the work industry. She has danced for 16 years, making it on the Buffalo Jills in 2014 and currently interning at Darlene Ceglia’s Dance Project. She is also involved in the fashion and makeup industry, being an assistant to a professional makeup artist in the Buffalo area and assisting on commercial shoots, weddings, and other projects. MacKenzie has been involved with the arts since a young age and hopes to make fashion and the arts more prominent in the Buffalo area in the future.
