Max Chew was born and raised in Rochester, New York. As an undergraduate at Canisius, Max had a dual-major in Accounting and Spanish, graduating from undergraduate in May of 2024 and from Canisius’ one year MBA program in May of 2025. On campus, he has been involved in athletics as a member of Canisius’ cross country and track teams and has been an active member of a national Spanish honor society, Sigma Delta Pi. Most recently, he took over as president of the organization for his senior year, planning and organizing all events for Spanish majors and minors over the past two semesters.

Off campus, Max has been working to gain experience in the auditing field, most recently interning for MMB + CO working on governmental auditing projects in the Western/Central New York area. Starting June 2024, he will begin interning in Deloitte’s Rochester audit and assurance office. After graduating with his MBA, he plans to pass all four parts of the CPA exam and pursue a career in auditing which will help him to start his own business.
